I have just finished refurbing both Westy windows, after putting it off for 18 months,  i followed Bwuttonmoon fabulous thread and had ago............What a pane (  sorry) in the arse that job is...........So i am about to refit them and my question is should i put wax oil in the reveal where the window sits or something or leave it be and trust in the seal??

The van has fairly fresh paint and is kept in a garage and upon taking the windows out the reveals were fine no rust issuse's.

What should i do/what do you reccommend???

Regards.

waxoil will not hurt and will help the seal locate easier so why not?

Can I send you mine to refurb? :msn4:

Must be nice to have done them - its one of my jobs I keep putting off!

The finished article......

What do you think??

Was a right pane to do.

Regards.
