If you dont mind me saying, ring who ever is doing the work up quick and get em to remove the front bulge where the vw logo goes, it will be worth it :wink:

yeah you're right, had a look at some other pics and look v nice w/o the bulge. How easy is it to remove the bulge?
I think they may have already fnished prepping the front so I may not be too popular!

Easy to do dood, just cut it out and weld in a plate. It is worth it otherwise it may niggle you in the future 8)

I just got mine back from paint. It's a great feeling when it's done.

I agree with the point about the front panel. It makes it obvious it has had a repair.

have asked the paintshop to give me a quote on the dash and removing the bulge and they reckong should be able to do it without too much extra £££ Hope so as I'm running out of funds!
