Had a good weekend

Rear support piece templated

and made

tested for fit

and a front piece made up too

Return for the tub welded

and on the reverse

not bad

Will need an infill for this

and made

and in

a couple of pieces left to make. Support for the inner brace

and made

and the end for the rear of the tub

and now out of gas!, so......

45mm increase in tub depth

not quite half a cap, but happy with that

will give an arch height of 370mm

With little or no gas, I dug this bad boy out

nicely done

clamped up and cut together to make sure it's a good join

Clamped

and tacked

and got the bottom brace in too

feels totally solid now. Can't believe how much strength these seem to put into the whole side of the bus!

Was going for the Porsche 924 Turbo rims as they are unusual on a bus but as they're getting more popular! I've gone for a set of Porsche Fondmetal rims

To fit over these

What do you think?

Cheers Andy The rears fit nicely no clearance issues so far but haven't tried the fronts yet as I haven't got my spindles sorted!!
