So... the stupid wood things have cracked on my roof rack. A couple of slates have opened up in middle and make nice random shapes as I drive along. They are so far still stuck on their edges to the metal bars.

How does a girl fix it.... Sellotape, duct tape or something else?

What wood is it?

how does wood stick on rack? no scrws so rivets or something? MKnow it would help if I posted pics but if I leave my red wine at moment 'he' will nick it.

Now cedar I know about... Ref the summerhouse thing I sorted for my mum. Unfortunately there is cedar and there is cedar.....

Which one?

How can I redo all the slats. Do I get a timberyard to cut to size and shape.. They won't will they.

Who rivets stuff?. What trade?

Should I just find a carpenter???

any proper builders merchant should be able to get the timber you need cut to size and properly planed on edges , all you need to do is take off old and replace with new.....simples
