Running issue

So returning from Alive & Dubbin the bus started to feel like there was power loss and spluttering, then it was ok again after pushing my foot further down on the accelerator. This kept happening again and again. I then stopped for a fuel stop and at the same time twisted my ht leads and coil leads and spark plug leads. The van didn't splutter again but seemed a bit short on power. Any ideas?? Fuel or leads?

And it was fuel filter?

Coil ? If hapoening when hot , then better when left to cool
