Hey folks. Had a thought. Out of all the members and the buses that have been on here past and present and seen in the metal in this club and obviously apart from your own bus, who's bus would you love to have in your ownership and why ? Who's makes you go yeah I would love that one massively on my drive ? 🤙.

No idea where it is now, but Martin Clunes, the actor, had an amazing 68 double slider deluxe microbus. That :)

I'm sure I read or seen about Martin's bus years ago. I'm sure he had a late bay too and the early both Black and Black and white as far as I can remember I think. I remember thinking they were gorgeous 🙂🤙.

A while ago there was a chap called John the. Horse. I always thought his bus was cool. I’ve tried to find a photo. As far as I am aware it’s been sold on and he left the site
It was the T2D TV bus . Groundbreaking at the time.

It was featured in an early VW Camper & Commercial magazine. I have a copy ‘somewhere’.

My favourites are single colour 68-70 tintops, but would’ve loved an original paint one such as Sparkys or that one above.

I also love factory high tops & adventurewagons, but couldn’t store either in the dry.
A guy at Irvs has a good slammed adventurewagon, and theres also a nice factory hightop I’d love to own, reg LWU64H
Saw it in the lakes last summer, then again at Skeg. It’s for sale now on the samba.

That belongs to my friend Nick Gatt

Yep, He's a good guy too. (I just didnt want to take a liberty & name him on here)
I've chatted with him a few times about that bus & some of his old cars, tyre sizes etc. He's really helpful, always got time to provide info.
We passed by him parked up in the hightop near Hawkshead last summer. It gets some use.
