As above, any time wasters or peeps to avoid when us peeps are tying hard to make a living

Angry and too much pop..... still not happy though!!

Just annoys me when peeps don't read the description properly, and then when they realise its not what they want, Freeze payment and demand there money back + Carriage to send it back when its there fukup not mine!!

1 bottle of Red and 4 largers didn't help the situation though!

Ive remove the guys name now as I think it was in inappropriate too!!

Not to offend...

He is someone who is either new to ebay, or a bell end who can't read a description.

Yer, im pissed!!

Fed up with timewaisters!

Ebay..... no more, to many Knobbers!!

Think I have been lucky with all the stuff I have ever bought, although there are some gits out there.

Whats your guy done? Make sure you make good use of the ebay reporting system

eBay does my head in!! Won bidding on a new pair of trainers nearly four weeks ago, paid within minutes of the auction ,had nothing delivered , no reply to four messages, open a case against him and then I have to wait to get MY money back!?!? Wtf!?

Oh and people that bid on your item seconds before the end of the auction but then don't bother paying for over a week, and then say delivery was late!? Just do one muppets!!

I've bought and sold on ebay, and on here, and whilst, yes, some folk are 'tossers', the vast majority are just ordinary honest people with busy lives, and delays set in. There is usually a reasonable explanation, but it is easy to jump in feet first when we feel duped, I know.

I bought an ipod from a guy in the US, after over 6 months of waiting it had still not turned up even though the guy was adamant he had posted it (but had no proof). Eventually ebay accepted responsibility and refunded my £150. Literally a week later it was delivered, properly addressed and apparently posted as described by the seller.

I'd have felt bad about bad-mouthing the guy without going through the due process first.

Just my opinion.

Agree with Delihatoo. Ebay's not that bad a place.

As a seller you're always guaranteed the best possible price for your goods. I cleared out our house in Australia before we moved over. We made a small fortune off all of our junk. I even sold a pair of well used bike shorts. There are some sick people out there.

There are avenues to resolve disputes. The resolution centre I beleive works quite well. Every time I've opened a dispute against an unreasonable trader they have resolved it immediately.

There is also the possibility of lodging claims through paypal. Great buyer protection with them.

Most people are fairly reasonable and willing to resolve matters in a civil manner.

The feedback system is a fairly good indicator of what sort of trader you're dealing with. More than one negative feedback and I will usually step away. Most people are quite protective of their feedback and try to do the right thing.

As for dodgy buyers Paul, well there's not too much you can do about them. What exactly happened?

Never had too much of problem buying from ebay, but had a couple issues selling (people saying they have not had the item, me with proof of post receipt but ebay saying that's not enough should have got it recorded etc). So you end up refunding the money and you still get negative feedback!

Guys still a bell end though!

Can't wait for the 'bell end' indicator on ebay.

He must have really pissed you off Paul. Hope you feel better having vented it on here.

I've bought a load of stuff off ebay and virtually always it's been OK.

There's been the odd thing where their idea of good condition is nothing like mine and the photos haven't shown the 'dodgy' bits but that's part of the risk of buying online.

This has happened to me 3 times as a buyer - Won an expensive item (£200+) and paid immediately at end of auction. In one case I travelled 70 miles to pick up a Mountain bike (£460) at their convenience. The Sellers - nice as pie in correspondence (and face to face). I left positive feedback immediately........and guess what..........no matter how politely I asked.....NO FEEDBACK FOR ME! in all 3 cases

In all cases I would say the Sellers were what I would call "middle class" Don't like to generalise - but this was the common (see what I did there) denominator.

Ignorant g**s!
