Doing this myself at the moment (slowly) - the "joggled" step flange is the same all the way down but it kind of kicks in after it passes the radiused section and heads down to the step - A few pics to explain it better -

Andy that's perfect mate. Just what I've been after. Thanks for pics. Can I ask what tooling you used? I've only the basic tools, and a hand flange tool.
Are you forming the lip with that wood and hammer in pic?
How many sections did you do it in?
I'd like to see the cab floor section once your done as well if possible.
