Potentially depending how things pan out I have a long block that I need to send from southampton up to Essex. Who are the cheapest to move stuff like this around and how much does a long block weigh?

definitely on a pallet or half pallet, make sure its securely fastened and is covered and protected in the key areas to prevent damage.

I've shipped a turnkey via inter parcel. £80 rings a bell. Had no issues other than the first attempt they weren't happy as they could see oil on the engine.
