Has the cost of shipping changed much, i brought my bus over about 4 years ago, paid about £1300 at the time

Is it about the same now, seen a bus on the samba i fancy

Cheers

West coast shipping do a flat rate of $1300 .
It's $200 extra for insurance.
Then there's pickup costs in the USA , it's bigger than I realised !!!!
Then Hill shipping in the UK unload it for £475 + 5% tax , then delivery to your door .

I used Kingstown,

£1260 Inc everything except insurance,

I had it dropped to them, so that's from receiving it till I pick it up from the west coast.

I used Kingstown too. Fantastic service overall. Depending on age of vehicle importing they also helped me get the lower 5% tax rate rather than the 20% normally paid. Loads of paperwork handled by them to save you money for £55. The best bit is if they don't succeed in saving you import duty they don't charge the £55 either.

Really happy when I imported mine 15 months ago.

Another vote of confidence for Kingstown.

I used them for my bay in 2012 - really good service, very nice bunch of people to deal with. Pity the dollar isn't as good anymore.
