All welded and one shock tower off which, incidently wasn't that hard. It only took about 10 minutes ;)

Hi
just a little tip I was told when doing mine

I bolted the end plates to the van but put 3 sheets of A4 behind the plate and chassis,
Then mocked/centralised it up and tacked it together
Removed beam and weld up, the sheets of A4 give you clearance when re fitting

Looking Good ;)

And so you should be. It's a **** job! It takes guts to get in & do one yourself. I bought someone else's effort & was tighter than a tight thing to get in.

Looks good so far...

looks all good mate. i tried to do the same thing on my bus but when i cut the ends off the tubes were fooooooked.

You mean the shock mount on the trailing arm?

I'mm gonna trim the bottom of the plate anyway because I think it will hit the floor. Also don't forget I have the new T2D dropped spindles and reversed balljoints so I don't think it will be an issue, cheers for the heads up though dude and thanks for the earlier compliments :)

Jay, that looks fookin' ace! Makes the sprinstars look even cooler!!!

Do the tyres clear the inner part of the front arch now?
