Show Report - VW Classics meeting Lier

Hi Guys, just thought I'd share this with you, 'twas another sunny day in Belgium and a sunday for that matter so thought I'd head out and check the VW Classics meeting in Lier. Bought a new camera so this was an excellent occasion to try it out...
Here it goes:


Nobody puts baby in the corner, but apparently the saying don't go for late bays

Some coverband with a splitty bus acting as a stage

This heb wasn't airtight

First early bay of the day

Had issues tho

Shiny Bug

Former radar bus in somewhat altered state

Nice bug, love the beady seats

Hi Top Syncro, for sale

Liked the home paint job on this one - satin gloss below beltline, gloss above

Pretty low late bay

Early Westy was cool but odd deluxe trim?

This one looked raggedy

Joe Pilar coverband had a nice bay and rocked the house too

Liked this one too

Rat splitty SC was pretty dang kewl

What was that again 'bout losing oil & territory & stuff :mrgreen:

Great colour

This splitty rolled in held together by ropes and without windows

Nice mk1 golf

The milkman came too

This one's owned by a girl and she did a lot of the work on it too, obviously

VAG boys were displaying their rides too, kool 'nuff

Thanks for the pics - that late bay with the swing up side door and opening front panel is gross (but looks to be well engineered though) :shock:

Well the opening front panel was once put in there by the police, it was a "radar bus" back when they didn't have Gatso's.
The owner did put in the flying side door though :lol:
Not my taste but nevertheless, well engineered it is.
