I'm trying to take off the side runner panel (sliding door side - under rear window) which covers the upper sliding track of the sliding door. On the other side I released 3 screws (had to grind off) and the panel came off. This nearside has 2 screws at either end. I have taken out one screw (surprised it released with a bit of WD40) and ground off the other. However the thing just won't come off ! Am I right in thinking that it sits on a V shaped panel - and should lift off - or am I missing something?
Help please !
Gracias !

I had similar trouble, I think it needs to be slid forward a little before lifting it up.

There is a screw in the end of the rod that sits in the channel, you need to loosen it and tap it towards the rear of the van. The cover can then be pushed up from underneath with a slim wedge of wood or similar.
