Hi,

Ive just taken off a Monza 4 tip which was on when i bought it and its too loud and droney, also not especially well made. Im planning to buy a merged header with a single quiet pack, the Bugpack version is pricier, is it justified?

Cheers,
Si.

Yes, coz the Empi will start rusting away as soon as you've tightened the last bolt
if you could stretch to a stainless system...all the better

Ive got EMPI on my van and it seems ok to me..... Been on for approx. 1 year so time will tell :D

I bought a twin bug pack to fit but can't use it because of tow bar but empi ones rot bad

So is it for sale then?

I would agree empi ones are cheap but don't last on British roads, not worth the effort to fit

Thanks for the advice guys, was toying with the idea of a vintage speed unit but can't justify the expense for what is essentially a can and a tube (albeit a very well made can and tube), so opted for the stainless single quiet pack 4 into 1 that Cool Air sell and once discount is on it's just under £250, so a pretty good deal.

Dood, check out my stainless exhaust system! it includes fitting and lifetime warranty as well! much better than the vintage speed and othe stainless ones out there ;)

Thanks bro, nice system but more than I would want to pay, plus Bristol is about 5 hours away by bus!

Fair play dood, but please remember it comes with life time warranty and it includes custom fitting to your bus, so you can choose how its finished and makes way for any tow bars etc that you have fitted, plus you will get a nice coffee  8)

All the prices you see for stainless these days is for the exhaust and not fitting aswell ;)

whats it like, i just bought the JK stainless which is very similar. i was impressed with the build quality and the muffler as a reassuringly solid feel to it

and whilst i'm here, found this http://auto.howstuffworks.com/muffler2.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - i never knew!
