Slammedpanel no longer making dropped spindles...

Just had an email from slammedpanel saying they're no longer making their 4 inch dropped spindles for bays due to balljoint reliability issues.

Shame, was gonna order a pair.

They were always quick to point out that the product was great, and some bays have had them fitted for years.

explains whey they never replied to my e-mails or phone calls.

Wonder if they would reveal the manufacturing secrects now, if someone (like me) would be willing to take the risk and try to copy on their own. Instructions would make nice thread here in EB.com forum.

I'd be interested to drop my van 4,3" but would have not had 450€ to spend on it, even if they still were available.

yeah a shame really i guess the long travel ball joints they were manufacturing were not up to scratch :?
