Sliding Door Help

Hi Yall
Fitted the sliding door today, Closed ok without the door seal, fitted the seal now it wont close all the way, ok at the door handle end, the hinge end needs to close about another 10mm
have adjusted the striker plate as the Bentley manual instructs also fitted a new roller on the hinge mechanism
any help will be appreciated
Ps its a RHD 1969

Hi, I take it you have lifted the handle up after you have closed it to pull in the hinge end??......I made this mistake, hope that's all you need.

Yes handle lifted up, still wont close

Hi ya I've read that one of these worn or broken can lead to poorly shutting of door eBay item 200510746268. It may help . Yet to check mine. Rob

dont forget the two cables behind the door card these adjust door aswell,did it shut ok with the old sill on,if it did then it is the new sill not helping aswell and you will need to adjust the door every now and then as it beds in.
