Sliding door interior lock

Hi,

My sliding door on my 1970 RHD Westy will not lock/unlock from the inside, it opens no problem but the small lever to lock does not move at all!

It never has to be honest and while it's not a big deal, just niggling me!

I'm guessing there is some sort of adjustment?

Hi, i take it you have lifted the handle after you have slammed the door ???............this pulls the back of the door in and then the interior lock should work
