As in.....

How do they work in practice _ I understand the concept, but in reality do you have to adjust the torsion splines and start again?
Are they bolt on [or any tricks/traps to catch you out?]
How do you adjust when they are on...lets say I'm taking a load of people camping and I want to raise it a little - how do you do it?

I've seen some with a 'drop' built in ..is this good or bad [I'm about 2 splines -possibly 2.5 drop at the moment]

and where is the best ones to be had..........

many thanks in advance

Gadget and Graham L have used them in the past - might be worth a PM - they fitted them to my bus but I have not adjusted them yet :)
