sofa in the garden probs

im in the prosess of selling my house and have had quite alot of interest but 2 potential buyers have pointed out that 4 doors down is a **** tip

its an ok area but 4 doors down is rented and looks a real mess all there fence has blown down and theres a 3 piece sweat in the garden.

my piss has boiled. :x

i need to find out who rents the house out(is there a way)???

short of buying and erecting a fence and taking the setie down the tip what can i do???

shame jim el fix it is no longer about, he would sort it for me :lol:

Tell em your on your way down the tip and being a good neighbour offer to take their sofa for them then see if they want the fence tipped as well, if they say it blew over and they cant fix it offer to help, sounds naf but it could be the difference between selling or staying. Failing that tell any pottential buyers that youve just bought the crap house and your about to develope it :wink:

Report them to the Council and explain that their house is attracting vermin and a health hazard due to the rubbish.

Also mention that their fence panels are obstructing the public footpath and that likely to cause an accident.

When you report get a name of the person you speak to and confirm that you have made a record of it and that way the person is more likely to pass on your concern and do something about it.

Someone from the council should follow this up if an official complaint has been made.

thought of reporting them but after looking at posts on other forums it looks like if the fence isent counsil and the sofas on there land they dont take action,ive had a word with anouther naghbour and were going to bodge the fence back up.noing my look it will fall on someones car and il be liable.once the fence ifs bodged up at least the sofa wont be as visable.

if you bodge it up atleast if quizzed you can say its a temp repair due to wind damage.....

my mate recently bought a place brand new and the covenant says they cant rent out the properties unfortunately within a couple of weeks the neighbours had rented out the place nothing but problems :x parties, drink driving abuse.....

I live in a lovely new development but my next door neighbour is an Alcoholic

Her husband left her and she been bangin' our door all hour of the nights asking for money and lifts shaking with the DT's. The police broke her door in as they noticed a pile of bottles knee high and the backyard is a **** hole! :x

She in breach of covenant too but there f**k all we can do . i dont know if im mad or feel sorry for her!?, shes only in her early thirtys.

update...

yesterday i went out there and spent a couple of hours putting the fence up,bit of a bodge butt looks loads better.

i feel beter now 8)

oh and much to my amusment the tosser with the 3 piece in the garden uses the hole in the fence as a short cut to his lift everyday.it was almost perfect timing, there i was hamering the last nail in when he got droped of.and he had to walk all the way round :lol: :lol: the 3piece is still there but not seen now the fence is up.

just have the prob of the housing market being on its arse now.

I know where you coming from dude we used to live next to a silly bint with 5 kids and a smack head boyfriend every 2 weeks she would kick him out then he'd spend a week breaking in and kicking 3 shades of **** out of her followed by 5 police cars and occasionally the search helicopter at 3am.

She never pressed charges and took him back every time!

Non of this is helping you thou lol.

You might get lucky this guy got locked up arm robbery!
