Another on my to do list. There’s a fair old bit of info over on the LateBay about various installs that they’ve done. I was hanging it out for some decent flexible ones and now that it’s do able I’ve pretty much chsnged my mind and I’m thinking about suitcase types that fold out when you’re parked up. You can put them where you want, even on a roof rack if you got one, Jonathan’s little front roof rack on his dormy would be ideal for one or even two, bungee strap and you’re good to charge i reckons, move em too as the sun moves round. With the dormy roof, you could even use the rake of the pop top as your angle to the sun.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,, I’ll maybe change my tack again

Ozziedog,
I use one of the fold out numbers and can't grumble at all, had it many years now and the place I bought it from is long gone... They are much better now-a-days so might be worth it.

There is a company near me that sells all manner of solar kit and they often put panels that are sub-standard on Flea-bay, all working well but a bit scuffed on the edges etc. I did contact them a time back and they said that I'd be welcome to go over and pick one up out of their Flea-bay pile so this could be a cheaper option... they are Solar Technologys ltd.

I have a 60 watt suitcase type panel that I carry in my fj cruiser that is set up for overland travel...
It's built by a place called overland solar...
Maybe a little on the pricey side but it's plug and play... I'm just going to transfer it to the bus when I need it...
