It pains me slightly to do this, we bought this awning about 2 years ago, used it for two camping trips, and then when we bought our new van, it came with a small, porch-style awning, and we’ve been using that ever since. The reality is, this awning is far larger than what we have ever needed and we’ve come to accept that we might as well sell it on to someone who will get the use from it, and we’ll resign ourselves to the fact that those two uses were the most expensive camping trips ever!
So, about the awning. As you’d expect, the awning looks unused. There is no damage, wear etc and it has been stored in our loft. I can’t remember the exact spec that these originally came with, but from memory we purchased an additional, full length groundsheet. Aside from the awning itself, there is the aforementioned full-size groundsheet (clips to the awning with a raised edge to stop water from getting on top of it), a 4-person sleeping compartment with clip-in divider to split it into 2+2 (with a sown-in groundsheet), a further groundsheet for underneath the sleeping compartment, poles to hold the front entrance up and create a sun shade, and 5 lengths of figure-of-8 rail. There’s a mountain of pegs with it, and an unused repair kit, seam sealer tube and spare parts. Also, the all-important bag for covering the pole joints to stop them from damaging the canvas when it is packed away.
The front door can be any combination of closed, clear window, or fly mesh. The side door can be closed or a clear window. With a combination of the two, it’s a nice place to sit in, whatever the weather or the time of the day.
I have just erected this awning by myself in order to take the photos, it is very easy to put up, even with my limited practise! I’ve added some photos, bear in mind it is only loosely pegged out.
I’d be more than happy to put this up for any prospective buyer, but due to size and weight, it will have to be collection only from Worcester. I can deliver to Camperjam, but would require a deposit as don’t want to lug this all the way and have to store it unless I was sure it’d be going!
£300
Any questions, let me know.
