If you spot a Span thread, kitchen or otherwise then please report it but could I request that you don't reply or post on the thread. No big deal but it means more admin work to delete than if its a single post thread.
Thanks for your help and patience ... these are individuals constantly re registering on here .... what a life, eh?

:)

i called the bastards up and threatened them. :lol: it didnt work. I've IP banned them so it will take a bit more effort for them to re-register. We can ban quicker than they can register anyway. i dont want to go back to admin authorisation as it can take to long for authentication. Theses are real people (an asian firm in manchester) doing this, twats.

And me,, sorry peeps, but I weren`t the only one naughty then , so how come it looks like I posted the kitchen firm thingy ?
Not that it matters. Used to do a few kitchens once :mrgreen:

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,, OOoopps :oops:

Guys, don't be sorry, it's just as admin thing that's easier done, that's all :)

We could co ordinate a mass phone in to them, all with the same script, requesting home visits to a fictitious address....

Oh I am a nasty bastard when wound up..

trust me i thought about that. :evil:

i dont know the law, but is what they are doing illegal in anyway? as i think the only way to stop them is through my solicitor.

i think it all stems from this post http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=48611&p=406751&hilit=kitchen#p406751" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

they must think we are a kitchen enthusiast site :lol:

If you have their IP address then do a whois lookup to find out who owns that range of IP's (and the whois record will include contact details) and start reporting them to their ISP for spam, most acceptable use policies from ISP's don't allow spam (but may only relate to spam emails), but, some are wider - either way a call from their ISP should make them move on somewhere else at the very least?

Or post the email address of the company and we can all send in emails asking them if they want to buy a bay window camper - it's only fair to return the favour :D

And thinking along the same lines maybe registering for forums, readers digest, random adverts in newspapers, websites, newsletters etc using their email & address would be helpful as they obviously want to speak to as many people as possible :)
