Hello
I've just purchased a 1971 Bay and am excitedly looking forward to customising it to my own spec (or that of my family, as it appears I may have very little say in that!) and to many years of happy vanning.
It's all new to me.
I'm sure this question must have been addressed before - I am interested in ideas of where to keep the spare. Previous owner said roof rack but this doesn't seem right to me. Some look good on the front on a bracket but l like my VW logo on the front as it is.
Thanks
BB

Theres a spare wheel well on the nearside above the engine? what have you got in there?

this is also an option but you will need to modify a standard roof rack to fit it.

Its all original, its a one owner bus and is a bit of a timewarp. The PO was anal about looking after it for the 40+ years he had it.
