I'm liking a lot I'm a bit bored of standard (detailed ) rims polished Fuchs etc there cool but its good to be a little different

Sorry Just..

I'm undecided but prefer steels to alloys anyway. Put it this way no one else has anthracite Porsche alloys on their bus :p

BTW you need to sort that rush patch behind the front step :mrgreen: my attention was diverted to it :mrgreen:

Thanks for the comments both positive and otherwise 8) I love the look of my bus on steels and white walls, but I also love the technicalities of getting thing to fit that we're not designed to (the story of my bus really). AND I like a change :lol: watch this space.....

As for the rust patch it's being done this winter ;)

I bought the jalousie window seals way back when (so long ago intact that I can't find them :lol: ill be having a good search when it stops raining enough to get the bus out the garage) so thought it was about time I took then out. I was expecting some surface rust underneath and wasn't disappointed

Not to bad tho, gave it a rub down and treated with Krust

Whilst that was drying time to get some wire wool and some metal polish, switched my brain off and rubbed till my fingers hurt :lol:

Not 100% clean but 100% better, as for a strip down and rebuilt with new rubbers......na!! Ill wait till they leak :lol:

Now.....where's them seal kits......
 
Well I spent all afternoon on & off looking for the bloody seals, can I fnd 'em? Can i Fook! Just went to buy some more but cant bring myself to spend £80 on something i know I have.................ah :idea: Im glad I typed this HAHA i know exactly where they are!!
 
Always busy on your bus Justin, putting me to shame. I don't seem to get any time on mine at the moment.

Just like me a few years back Jon.............it will all come good, just dont loose the faith 8)
 
Hopefully my lame attempts at halting the rust will hold out long enough till the day comes when it gets a full resto.....................whenever that may be :mrgreen:
