I keep getting a stalling problem that seems to be intermitten, like today iv started my van about 5 times and it runs at the right speed constantly with no probs, i started it again a bit later on and it starts then slows right down and stalls straight away, i revved it for a while to get it warm, took my foot off the accelerator and it dies again.

Jus wondered if anybody has the same problem or might have any ideas how to solve this problem

Thanks

what carb you running?

could be the choke, try resetting it or a bit of crud in the idle jet, try taking it out and blowing it out, or sucking but you'll be burping petrol all night  could also be the electric side :?:

lol, thats great thanks for your help, il try that with a little help from the haynes manual i think, lol. I think my carbs a solex 34 pict 3, :?

Hi!

Check the fuel run on solenoid on the carb, should hear it click with ignition on if you touch the wire on it, this could be the fault maybe?

Good luck

Alistair
