Hi al, had an issue with starter motor on my 70 earlybay, no sound from starter when key turned unless hit with a hammer. Relaced with a cheapesh one lasted 3 months untill same happened. Now bought a bosh german one which was working really well untill recently when it occasonally does the same ,nothing untill tapped with hammer! Only about 2-3 months old! What next confussed. Any help, suggestions? The brass collar in box looks good .very frustrating.
