While under then van today I noticed I hadn't tightened the terminal nut on the starter solenoid  I then noticed one of the wires was hanging loose and not connected to anything. In the picture below it is the wire with the blue cover (push on connector). There is no tab there to push it onto so this must have snapped off  but what does this wire do as the van still starts and runs without it being connected to anything...?

Am I correct in thinking the above wire with the blue cover takes power to the fuse board?

Having just changed my solenoid hopefully i can help.
The wire with the loop terminal is the battery feed, the spade push also on this terminal is the feed to the fuse box / ignition switch and the other spade terminal should be the return from the ignition switch.
Dont know how you managed to start it with this disconnected (unless i've got it wrong again  )
