Steering Issues

Hi All

Steering is becoming fairly loose these days with a fair nit of play in the steering wheel, making motorway driving interesting. Any advise for the best solution? I've heard the red9design set up would solve the whole problem or a recon steering box - but they only get a 1 year warranty.

All advise appreciated.

You need to find the cause of the play - it may not be the steering box, and could be something simple like ball joints on part of the steering mechanism.

Get underneath and have a good look around with a torch whilst someone turns the steering wheel from side to side, you'll soon see where the problem is if there's a lot of play.
