Hi guys!
My 71 LHD westy has just been failed on MOT for 'steering excessively tight'. I have recently removed the sterring wheel/indicator housing to carry out other jobs. Driving to the MOT station the steering seemed to me to be as before. So question, what would you guys recommend......strip down and grease, oil, replace? I did notice when putting wheel back that the locating washer above the bearing was in two pieces but used it until I can get a new one. As ever funds are limited so any help/advise appreciated.
