Hi all,

I'm looking to put my bus back to being a fairly stock microbus interior.

Can anyone tell me what colour doorcards and interior cards I should have?

What should I have on the bulkheads?

It doesn't have the air vents through the doorcards, or the holes for it in the bulkhead (these are blanked off)

What do I need to get it like a stock microbus?

I've currently got the opportunity to buy these:

Which match the sliding door card I have.

Would a Dormy have the holes drilled in the bulkheads already?
Presumably I'll need the padded surround bits too.

Generally, white seats in a microbus? to go with the white cards?
But then my front doorcards are a mustard colour, not the white/black.
Cheers!

Jim.

I believe the correct name is Alabaster and only the vans with the original vents have the hole cut out on the bulkhead though the position is raised in all the bulkheads so shouldn't be to much bother drilling in the correct place. If you decide not to go that route I would be interested in your door panel
Dont forget the microbusses also had the armrest vents on the door cards and the connectors behind the bulkheads etc.
Saw these on ebay might be of interest.

 I've been looking everywhere for a set like that - scoured eBay earlier and couldn't see any

I might well be bidding on that lot, although they're in extremely good condition! Might be a bit rich for me, we'll see.

Thanks! 8)

Forgot to ask, what is the deal with the rectangular vents on the bottom corners of the door cards? Do I need anything behind them to make em work? (not the long air supply bits above em)

Cheers,
Jim.

 Fair play!

I'll definitely keep an eye on that lot. :) Not tooo far away either.

There is nothing behind them on mine. Just an empty space. I'm never sure what to do with it to be honest.

Cheers Rob

The ones on eBay went for £190. And the seller wasn't even entirely clear when I emailed him on whether it included the rearmost cards either.

Far too rich for me!

Was a bit steep  Trainspotter on here had a set for £80 not sure if he still has it.

Thanks Wibbler, I've asked him on his thread now :)

This afternoon, I'm gonna go and pick up the large middle panel as I posted pics above. 8)

Do you have the bulkhead panels already? If you come across another sliding door panel that colour I would be well interested, been after one for yonks.

I think I'm going to leave my bulkheads as metal for now, makes them easier to clean and I might have a Dormobile cooker on one side too.

Do you have a set of the bulkhead ones, or looking for them?

Ive got a pair, I took out of my crossover, they are the same as the ones in your pic but have two thin chrome strips on them (faded) which is quite rare, trouble is the previous owner screwed hardboard over them and they have small screw holes in them, cool if your going ratty I suppose.

Hehe. I'm just gonna leave mine painted. This is the new card I bought yesterday, fitted to the van.

:D

With the bulkheads painted, the window sections given a bit of headliner and everything tidied up it ought to look alreet :)
