Storage behind rear seat

Looking at pictures of other westy's. The single seat behind the drivers seat has an area for storage just behind the upright. This is present on mine also but is just an open space whereas looking at the pictures this should be more finished with a piece of laminate.

Is this correct DNS if I were to search for this anyone got any suggestions as to what to look for ..... It took me a paragraph to describe :lol:

Mines a later early westy, a campmobile 70 model (71 MY) and has an open space too, the back rest on the buddy seat is also higher than the earlier ones. I believe is how they where made. So yours is probably correct for its year..... Maybe
