Sadly I am putting my 69 bay up for sale, it is in stunning condition having had a bare metal repaint.when I purchased this van I was told that it had been restored !!!!!!.... yeah by an idiot!!!!!!....I spent 18 months restoring this van to a high standaed. I took all the underseal off the chassis, cleaned up, etch primmed, resealed and body coloured the chassis.

Everything that came off the van was shot blasted or cleaned up then repainted. It spent a whole month solid in the panel shop and a week in the paint shop.

The list of new parts is endless, but i'll make a start

new scofield front panel
new quality front arches
second hand rust free engine lid
second hand rust free rear coners
second hand rust free rear valance
new engine lid hanging panel
new rear window recess panels
new hella lights
new quality mirrors
all new seals windows, doors, roof
new roof bellows
new bunks and bunk covers
stunning new interior and door cards
new vinal flloor
new headlinning
new rock and roll bed
all new brakes and brake pipes
new steering rod
recon engine, all tin ware shot blasted and painted
alternator conversion
new exhaust and heat exchangers

I know I've missed loads

needs interior and fuel sender unit fitting, I have the original Dormobile interior and I think I have a new fuel gauge sender

Hi Kurt. Nice looking van. I'm also around Newbury (Ashmansworth) and have a '71 Dormobile and a Kyham sleeper...although van's not on the road yet :(

Did you manage to sell yours?
