T2 & Golf mk4 combo

Hi all

Just a quick ish question, I having a late T2 gearbox to be mated to a non pd 1.9TDi Golf engine - do I need the T25/T3 diesel bellhousing to make this work?

Yes, you'll need the T25 Diesel Bellhousing, Sump and oil pick up. There's plenty of info on this over on VWKD.co.uk

Many thanks for the reply, novice question (yeah, another one!) the oil pick up? Heard I need the dipstick but what is the pick up?

It is the pipe that feeds the oil pump from the sump. With the different sump you need to change the pickup pipe to match (so your pump can suck up the oil)
