Sneaky Ned - I like it.

BTW, your signature looked interesting but the website isn't working :(

Sorry thats old. http://www.hayburner.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; :D http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=36410" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I had this dilema for ages wanted a 5" monster tach but the only one i could find going to 8k (thought 10K would leave to many numbers not used) is autometer sport comp around £180. Sunpro ones are half the price look as good but go to 10k. Then seen the mooneyes half sweep one and quite like that but its only 3.5" so thought to small. seen a guy a the diner meet with one on his steerring column and didnt look to small at all. New can of worms as now i know 3.5" ones look ok :? :?

holes in autometer bracket line up with speaker hole at correct angle as well,dont need to drill hole for wires as will fit through existing larger hole torards screen behind grille.only need to run 1 wire from rear ,green from coil neg,ign live pick up from fuse box ;)

Ah thanks. Haven't been on the forums much over xmas (been working on the bus), so I have missed this news in the 'scene'.

Looks great! Love the photography and style so far from what I've seen. Reminds me of the real reason I got into old VWs. Nicely done sir.

:mrgreen:

(Sorry for thread hi-jack :x ;) )
I'll give you a shout about advertising / sponsorship soon too.

Heard a rumour some repro original looking VDO tachs are coming out soon which will fit right into the spare gauge pod. ;)

Worth hanging out for in my opinion. :)
