Hello
my name is Olly, I'm from Bonn/Germany.
I bought the first Bay in January 1986, it was a 76th T2b "diy-Camper".
In 1990 I bought a 70th (My 71) T2a "Syro" Camper, I unfortunately sold after a few months
22 years I longed for the T2a and last year I had the chance (and the money) to fulfill my dream = a California T2a de luxe, built on 28 März in 1968 (3 months younger than me)
meanwhile, I've overhauled front and rear axle and set the Bay lower.
It is only rust in the front floor pan, half I've already replaced.
now I save some money, so that the Bay may soon be repainted, because the U.S. second-paint is peeling off everywhere.
I read quite a while here in the forum and am amazed by your great projects
we read us
greetings
