I test drove a couple with Litesteer, its really impressive, if not a little too light! But I believe the newer kits are adjustable.

There was a guy on ebay that was selling DIY versions for less than half the price, but a fairly involved installation.
It's something I may look into further down the line, especially if my wife starts to drive it more.
 
I might be fitting some thing like that to my next hot rod build.
 
I bought one to install in my early bay 4/1971 arrived in Portugal this week, next week I'll install it let's see how it goes then I'll say something
 
Everyone’s needs are different, your mileage may vary, etc., but I have to say that, other in the UK, I have never read about or seen any power steering in use on early Bays.

My (unsolicited) advice to those considering aftermarket power steering units: just inflate your front tyres to 40 PSI.

Save your money for becoming a sustaining member of this club (or for buying shiny gifts for Ozziedog).
 
A local guy in his 70's has a '72 crossover (in outstandingly good condition) running a Litesteer. His manoeuvre into his garage used to be a nightmare he said, until he got that fitted.
