Hi folks
Just a quick question for the lowering experts
I'm going to be running 2.5" drop spindles on an 80mm narrowed adjustable beam
Van will be as low as it will go without tubbing/notching (so not super low)
Question is-will it be best to get the spindles reamed and fit the bushes to have the track rods upside down?
Thanks
Bri

Thanks for the reply. Do you mean easier or just allowing to going lower?
Thing is, it's easy enough for me to get the spindles reamed as they're not fitted yet
But notching would involved fabrication, welding
Cheers

I would have thought that if you don't run them upside down you will get bump steer, this is why the tie rod gets mounted upside down.
What make are your spindles ?

You could have a look into
Chromoly heim joint and rose joints.
I would suggest having a read of squareweave's thread 71 Sierra yellow OG paint refresh "the beater"
He details his use of them.
