Check the coil. Last time my bus died, it felt like running out of fuel, but it was my flamethrower that suddenly failed. I just replaced it with a blue coil and everything was fine.

Spot on. The coil failed and took the Pertronix unit with it. Everything fixed now.

This is a BLM (Government) campsite in the desert east of Los Angeles. It is supposed to be $6.00 a night, but old codgers (like Ozziedog) only pay $3.00.
