Now summer is back again im sorting the van out ready for the hols. My problem is that i carry everything under the sun in my tool kit and its getting bigger year by year.
What is the most common size spanners/ sockets i should carry. Goes without saying a selection of spanners and after last year a CV bolt socket and a 3ton trolley jack.
Can we start up a list of tools and spares we should carry without going to mad.

points , condensor, clutch and accelerator cables, and a kidnap kit (gaffer tape and tie wraps) oh and electrical chock blocks always handy

As above, with a selection of spanners/sockets from 8mm up (got twin 34's and hex linkage so every nut is a different size  ), pliers, mole grips, adjustable spanner, flat and pozi screwdrivers, stanley knife, feeler guages, piece of fuel pipe, length of insulated wire, insulation tape, fan belt and alternator pulley shims, spare distributor cap, leads and plugs, rocker cover gaskets, litre of oil, brake fluid, warning triangle as well.
