I want to buy a tow bar for my 1968 early bay, but I wonder how it's mounted.
Here are pictures of the tow bar and my bumper mounting, will this one fit?
Or does anybody perhaps have pics of the mounting of a tow bar?

Looks like a Westy tow bar. You remove the bumper irons and fit the tow bar in the same mount holes. The bumper should mount to the tow bar.
Gadget is selling his excellent reproduction of these if you have yet to buy.

Mine mounted different to what was mentioned above. On the other side of the chassis rail to where the bumper irons are bolted was some other bolt holes and these lined up perfectly. If you look from the outside of the van inwards you will see them. My tow bar is slightly diff to yours but may fit the same way.

there's three fixing holes with captive nuts to the outer side of the chassis rails (each side) and both (i think) bumper iron holes from underside are used, this is on a westy style towbar anyway.

This might help :)
