Track rod fitting

Can you mount the track rods from either the top or bottom?

The track rod ends are tapered and the taper in the steering arm and spindle goes from bottom to top. Meaning they should both be fitted from below.

Is this right?

As you're identified - they're tapered. They only fit one way.
You might occasionally see them fitted the other way, but this will be for one of two reasons:
1. they're fitted wrong
2. it's got aftermarket [lowered] spindles that are tapered the other way to allow that fitting

Thanks gvee. I’m assuming to fit them as per the taper. But as both are from below just checking that’s ok.

Thanks gvee, but I’m wanting for got them from below on the spindle end also. The spindle und tapers from the bottom to the top.
