Hi,

Winter is here and I am going to replace my fuel lines (precautionary) so need some advice on fuel line setup on a type 4 engine with twin IDF's.

Which of the following is better or any other suggestions.

Elec Fuel pump - inline filter - fuel regulator - 'T' - pipe to each carb

or

Elec Fuel pump - fuel regulator - 'T' - pipe to with filter to each carb (current setup)

or other suggestions.

Also where is a good online place to get the bits?

Cheers,

Si

agree, put a filter before the pump
would add a filter after the pump and one each just before each carb

That's an awful lot of filters.

One thing I did read was it is best to have the least amount of joins in the engine bay. Less chance of a leak. :)

You only need the one and if its pre pump you offer a bit of protection to the pump and it can be positioned clear of any ignition points if the worst happens.....

Thanks Araon.

I got the bits on the way homw from work, and hopefully get it done at the weekend. :)
