Hi just thought id check all our motors oils and waters today. Done the first two then onto the bus. Oil fine and just decided to have a poke around . When i purchased the bus i was aware the exhaust had blown somwhere and today i noticed a metal bracket / collar which attaches the exhaust i think to the back box had come apart. It seems as if tho it should be attatched with a jubalee clip or similar. What part do i need to attach it ? Ill post some pics

Do you have the cardboard pipes that run from the fan housing down to the heat exchanger connection? Also, you've a bit of tinware to put back in that area don't you?

Thanks for that ill write all them down. I think the rest of the pipe is there. I wasn't aware i had tinware missing. Where abouts is that what?

Looks like you're missing a bit that looks like this (the one in the link might not be the exact one that you need):

And part 23 in this link:

Your engine will run too hot unless you get the compartment sealed up properly

Ill have to have another proper look when its light tomorrow. From memory there is a large length of thick pipe running underneath the van front to back so i think its just that small section missing.

Anyone any thorts on the collar ( first couple pics ) how do i connect the two pipes together

Just had a proper look under the bus. The cardboard type pipe runs front to back and seems heat exchanges r there its just the flexy pipes are missing... Both sides :(
Just noticed this on jk
