I know the 1600 in my bus is suspect and I have a new 1800 upright cooling which was going in my bug sitting around. (Onto a 911 box)
My question is what is the easiest way to fit the 1800 to the bay?
I assume I need to make a new engine bar
Would I be better to get a late bay 1800 gearbox and mate the two or get a 210/215 flywheel machined for the input bearing to be fitted there.
I guess a 200mm flywheel would allow early bay clutch and release bearing but I've read about people having failures.
All help appreciated
