Having just finished converting my 72 crossover De Luxe bus to a camper, ( see "cheap and cheerful") with full interior and proper westy roof what should turn up but an original one family owned 72 crossover Westfalia. :D It has a virtually complete original interior, good canvas, only the kitchen cabinet has been altered, and a somewhat rattly engine. I am having it cut and polished to see how much of the original paint I can save, and just have the minimum sprayed.

It has been standing for years, has no deep rust and I drove it home. And you don't want to know how much I paid for it, it would make you cry :(

Yes, the yellow plate with the T suffix is the old transvaal province reg, fortunately the papers are up to date. I am coming to Europe for a sabbatical next year, DV, and may bring it with me
