There was a bloke on VZI who was running smart car tyres (73 rating IIRC) and he'd had a couple just implode. He wasn't too bothered, it was just a chance he took.
Don't think I would chance smart car tyres with the kids in the back. As said I ran car tyres 82 on my old bus never had a problem did 10 k miles. It just the 2nd time round I have learnt a bit and gone for reinfored tyres. But do tell your insurance company. Told mine about the tyres, discs and lowered only added £12
