Tyre load index - what have you got?

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Its not like we use our buses as trucks carrying full payloads. For light duty work (camping basically) then I'm sure anything in the high 80s will be fine. There was a bloke on VZI who was running smart car tyres (73 rating IIRC) and he'd had a couple just implode. He wasn't too bothered, it was just a chance he took.

Don't think I would chance smart car tyres with the kids in the back. As said I ran car tyres 82 on my old bus never had a problem did 10 k miles. It just the 2nd time round I have learnt a bit and gone for reinfored tyres. But do tell your insurance company. Told mine about the tyres, discs and lowered only added £12

yeah I think my insurance is up for renewal soon, al mds will be declared.
