Cleaning out my newly acquired Cali Bay and found 2 flares (not trousers ;-) ) under the drivers seat. Are these required in the States for emergency ?

Anyone else found weird stuff ?

Dito, Although mine broke apart when I removed them.

I guess they must be for break down recovery.
I also found a letter with a dollar bill in it, playing cards, a fuel card, marbal, a braclet loads of U.S coins and dice (Which I keep for luck).

.... Oh and a Bee hive in the to of the rear air intake!

Cool finding bits that tell its story. 8)

Plus a 70s burger king kite, root beer can, loads of dimes, pen knife, prayer book and loads of old batteries rolling around under the floor. No black widows though!

That's a good collection of weird!

Apparently my bus had been off the road since 81, so it didn't have too many years to accumulate interesting crap.

My haul included a matchbook from Colony Kitchen...

...the lid off a tissue box...

...the 1980 Financial Report for the New Mexico Dermatology Foundation  ...

...and a Grateful Dead tape, to go with the sticker on the back window

Mine was full of love letters from a student and her teacher
Larry was a bad man!!

Oh and this mother ****** landed on me when the back bumper was removed

I've had my 71 dormobile for 4 years and last year I had to remove the knife and fork draw and found a packet of legal highs wedged in the corner they went out of date in 76 I bet they were scratching there heads wondering where they had put them. Happy days. For those thinking about what I did with them, I stuck them in the bin lol

Good call- the illegal stuff is, bizarrely, much safer.
Funny how the world works, isn't it.

Are those fire crackers too?

Yes, fire crackers and a lighter! Also some biblical stuff and bits from casinos ... I like to think he was a gambler in search of redemption

In comparison mine was boring, just a pile of Camper and Bus mags going back to issue No.1, and a thrupenny bit.

I have stuck the coin to my dash, and I marvel at the total absence of slammed buses in 2005. :D
