is it OK to use a Devon swing out type cooker with an awning fixed to the roof gutter above - like the Vango Kela? is there enough headroom above the cooker to be sure of zero fire risk?
cheers

I can't say what the fire risk is for your circumstances obviously, but we use a swing out cooker with an Outwell Country Road awning, attached to the gutter with figure of eight, without any problems.

Do make sure that the folding metal hood is fitted though, as this is key to keeping the heat within the unit. I would definitely NOT use it in the awning without the hood in place.

thanks - yes we have the Devon cooker hood complete - so am reassured by your comments - I thought it must be OK but just wanted to check before getting an awning!

cheers
