Has anyone ACTUALLY got one? :msn4:

Trying to choose an exhaust and these seemed to fit the bill :p ...stainless 8) ....work on lowered buses 8) ....nothing sticking out the back 8) .....

Did several searches on here SSVC/Vzi/thesamba...and not much info  .......was about to order.....then....

.....found someone whose exhaust was corroded after 9mths use  .....this wasn't his first that was replaced under warrenty   .

So £400 notes for something that look tatty in 9mths....and I thought other companies had that market sewn up  ...scratch that theirs don't cost £400 notes

I'm pretty sure Johnny has purchased one. They're certainly high up on my shopping list when funds allow. I've not seen or heard anything bad about them. I know Laurie Petit has sung their praises in the past on their quality and performance.

I could find very little comment about them good or bad :? ....until

.....might be faulty batch....but winter use seems to have not had the best of effects on one...oops make that two...same person :msn4:

I have just put one on my new engine, build quality seems very good but I have done zero miles So far so can't judge anything else

Pete

pm moler, he's got one on the Jet Rocket panel (but I'm guessing you've sussed that already ;) )
for what it's worth, not got one myself but couple of friends have - nice noise and not to loud for a long haul but neither have had theirs long enough to find out about corrosion issues as they're low mile buses (splits  ).

yes ive got one, had it fully polished as well still under my bed and will be for a while till i have the time to get at the devon.

Any details or pictures of the rusty one ?

well it was cheap ($50) and would have possibly cost me the same price as the exhaust to get it done that way in the UK and I thought a shiny new engine deserved a shiny new exhaust. And.. tell me its a not cool as f**k? 8)

My Devon will be dripping in bling, chrome and billet everywhere  . I'll stop short at stainless bumpers as im not sure they will look right on a Devon.

thanks for this......pm'd you

Hi M, had it fitted for about 2 months now with no problems so far. A friend who works in marine stainless was impressed with the build quality, hope this helps.

visual build quality 8) , engine note 8) , overall look 8) seems to be top $ :p from everything I read...hence the 'about to hit the order button :msn4: '......

...after two months is it just discolouration or any signs of anything much worse? :?

about 400 £ worth  ...i did a lot of oooo that looks nice  ...i'll have one of those with the bay  ....wasted quite a bit of the rare stuff ££££ so trying to be more sensible with the splitty

Wont be needing the exhaust for a year or so just have the cash at the moment
