What is the usual drill for weekenders?

Get there Friday afternoon, meet up with everyone and start drinking, go to the Bear and have a few drinks, back to the bus and have a couple more.
Park the bus in the line-up 8.30 Saturday morning and then start drinking, out for a meal later and then drop into the Bear on the way back to the bus for a couple of drinks.
Sunday morning, try and wake PeteB up, park up in the line-up about 8.30 and then set off for home about 4.30ish.

Add your name, just copy the contents of the post and add your name to the list and yes its in order unfortunately Clem or Myself just dont have the time to add people when its a simple thing that everyone can do.

The list is particularly full this year and at present I'm not aware of anyone dropping out, in previous years we've had people commit and then not show up in time which means the forum looks bad in Volksworlds eyes so we need to fill the spaces on both days in order to keep our slot for future years.

The take up is particularly high this year. We had a couple of years of struggling to fill the space we had (other reasons were involved such a weather and Mothers Day clashes) but additionally the allocation for space out there has also changed with more areas allocated to quality car line ups, not just buses. Anyway, its key that we fill out ten places on both days and I never want it to be about some kind of judgement on who can or cant attend so it has to be first come first served. Hope everyone undertstands.

Some information from the organisers -

Tickets and passes will be available for collection on the day at the gate.

Arrival times for clubs are as follows:

Saturday 2nd April 8 AM- 9.30 AM (gates close at 9.30 AM and after this you will NOT be given entry to the event.)

Sunday 2nd April 8AM- 9.30AM (gates close at 9.30 AM and after this you will NOT be given entry to the event.)

Departure times for clubs are as follows:

Saturday 2nd April - After 6pm (or when we have the all clear that all public guests have left)

Sunday 3rd April- After 5pm (or when we have the all clear that all public guests have left)

Once you arrive at the show you will be placed in your plot by VolksWorld staff and from there you are free to set up as you wish. Throughout the show you will have access to all public areas, all we ask is that you do vacate the show as and when directed by the show staff .
At the end of each day of the show, you must be aware that NO car movement will commence before 5.30pm (or until the venue is cleared of all public guests) on Saturday 2rd April. Or before 5.00pm (or until the venue is cleared of all public guests) on Sunday 2rd April. We will do our very best to get all cars removed after the show as possible, but please keep calm and do not start up or move cars until you have been instructed to do so.
